ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture Competition: Kengo Kuma and Associates honoured as Architects of the Year

The ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture, organised by the German Design Council, honour the best architecture and design solutions internationally. This year’s winners have now been announced and can set themselves clearly apart from their competitors thanks to their title. The special awards, which each come with EUR 10,000 in prize money, were presented to Kengo Kuma and Associates (“Architects of the Year”) and Alberto Caiola Studio (“Interior Designers of the Year”). The “Architects’ Client of the Year” honour went to Adidas AG.

ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture – Call for entries

The registration phase for the international ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture has started. These awards recognise the crème de la crème of architecture and innovative interior and product design, as well as outstanding communication concepts and singularly innovative materials. The winners will be honoured at the awards ceremony on 5 October 2020 at the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich.

ICONIC AWARDS 2019: Innovative Architecture Competition – David Chipperfield Firm Named Architects of the Year

The winners of the prestigious ICONIC AWARDS 2019: Innovative Architecture competition have been chosen. The competition’s two special awards – “Architects of the Year” and “Interior Designers of the Year”, each endowed with a prize of €10,000, went to David Chipperfield Architects and Snarkitecture. The honorary prize “Architects’ Client of the Year” was awarded to the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
