“Absolutely worth emulating”: German Design Council presents visionary architectural projects at the ICONIC AWARDS 2024: Innovative Architecture

The German Design Council today announced the winners of the ICONIC AWARDS 2024: Innovative Architecture. Like no other, the award honours the entire spectrum of creative disciplines from the world of architecture: exceptional spatial concepts and building projects, pioneering product design, outstanding brand communication and innovative use of materials in architecture.

ICONIC AWARDS 2024: Innovative Architecture – Call for entries

The registration phase for the international ICONIC AWARDS 2024: Innovative Architecture starts today. The award from the German Design Council honours top achievements in architecture, clever conversion solutions and revitalisations, future-oriented interior and product design, outstanding communication concepts and particularly innovative and resource-efficient materials.

Sou Fujimoto honoured at the ICONIC AWARDS 2023: Innovative Architecture

This year’s winners have been announced and can set themselves clearly apart from their competitors thanks to their title. The special awards were presented to Sou Fujimoto (Architects of the Year) and Holzrausch (Interior Designers of the Year). The Architects’ Client of the Year honour went to the Norwegian furniture manufacturer Vestre, for it’s new factory »The Plus«.

Herzog & de Meuron honoured as Architects of the Year

This year’s winners have been announced and can set themselves clearly apart from their competitors thanks to their title. The special awards were presented to Herzog & de Meuron (Architects of the Year) and Matteo Thun & Partners (Interior Designers of the Year). The Architects’ Client of the Year honour went to the city of Bruges, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for it’s »The Bruges Diptych« project.

ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture – Call for entries

The start of the registration phase for the international ICONIC AWARDS 2020: Innovative Architecture has started. These awards recognise the crème de la crème of architecture and innovative interior and product design, as well as outstanding communication concepts and singularly innovative materials. The winners will be honoured at the awards ceremony on 5 October 2020 at the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich.
